Courtney Mickens
Courtney Mickens is a seasoned nonprofit executive with over 15 years of experience leading strategic program development, volunteer training, and organizational growth. He currently serves as Program Development Manager at PALS Programs, where he oversees national initiatives, manages a $1.1 million programming budget, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver inclusive, high-impact experiences. His career spans leadership roles at City Year Cleveland and Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland, where he built strong school partnerships, mentored AmeriCorps members, and expanded youth programming across underserved communities. Courtney holds a B.A. in Nonprofit Administration from Cleveland State University and is pursuing his MBA at Howard University. He has served on multiple boards and committees, including the Neighborhood Leadership Institute, Warrensville Alumni Foundation, and Avon Avenue Baptist Church, contributing expertise in fundraising, governance, and community engagement.
