Empowering Communities Across Africa Through Sustainable Action

Join Omega Global Development to build resilient societies and create lasting change with locally driven solutions

Our Story

Millions of families across Africa rely on agriculture and small-scale trade to survive; however, too many lack the tools, training, and infrastructure to thrive. Omega Global Development exists to change that. In Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda, The Gambia, Guinea Bissau, and across Africa, we strengthen maternal and infant care, expand education, build churches, and raise leaders. From schools and sustainable farms to our Kids for Kids Goat Project, we invest in rural communities with practical solutions that transform survival into stability. When standing with Omega, you're not only giving; you are investing in lasting change.

South Sudanese Leader visits our sponsor churches

When OGD meets the leaders that we serve, it is an opportunity to hear their concerns firsthand. We were honored to partner with a local Cleveland congregation to welcome our pastor from South Sudan to hear his vision and his heart.

Five people standing inside a tent, smiling, wearing matching black T-shirts behind a table with colorful crafts, with a green and white promotional banner featuring photos of children and the logo.

OGD had the fantastic opportunity to attend the National Association of the Church of God Campmeeting once again in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania. We met new friends and had the chance to share our vision and tell the stories of the wonderful people we serve.

OGD was awarded a gift from the African Solidarity Committee of Cleveland to support our work with the children of the Nsuti Yange Foundation. These types of opportunities allow OGD to build bridges between organizations and to support the needs of our African communities.

One World Day in Cleveland, Ohio, is an event that we look forward to every year. This year, we were able to bring our entire team to share our organization with a rich, versatile, and vibrant community and to have a day of fun.

The top right photo shows two women standing together in colorful dresses, smiling. The bottom right photo features a woman speaking at a podium, wearing a matching blue and floral dress, with a woman in the background wearing a pink mask.

Our CEO had the wonderful opportunity to share our vision with a local church that supports our mission and vision. It is always a blessing to tell the stories of the fantastic people that we serve.
